We build and maintain relationships with the Latin American consulates, of which there is a larger population and need in our region of Central Virginia. The longest-running collaboration is with the Mexican Consulate multiple times a year through their Mobil Visits to Charlottesville. We have a growing relationship with the Guatemalan Consulate, which we helped bring to Charlottesville to provide mobile services for the first time in April 2023. We established a connection with the Honduran consulate during and pre-pandemic. We continue to communicate and work on relationships with other consulates, including the Salvadoran consulate.
Donate to support the legal rights and empowerment of our immigrant community in the Charlottesville and Waynesboro areas. By contributing to the program, you can help provide critical legal support and advocacy that can make a significant impact on the lives of individuals and families. The Legal Assistance program addresses important issues related to immigration, civil rights, and social justice, which can have a profound impact on the well-being of our immigrant communities. Your support can help create a more just and equitable society, where all individuals have access to the legal resources and support they need to thrive.
